Former Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum made his move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq official in 2023, becoming one of many European veterans to flock to Saudi, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, etc.

The Dutchman is arguably Al Ettifaq's best signing to the day and is unsurprisingly their highest-paid player in the squad following the departure of Jordan Henderson just six months after joining the club.
